That looks really really good for me because after years on a Lockjack I love mechanicals.

 

Really love my Hitch Hiker though.

It does look good doesn't it! Will be good to hear how people get on with it.

 

I wonder if you can use it in drt too like you can the HH!?

You can but you need to incorporate a tether from the runner carabiner to the spliced end ofthe line so the carabiner does not entangle in the runner and disengage it. Works well in this format but it requires a little bit of set up to be safe. It was not designed with ddrt in mind. I had to force myself to climb a tree ddrt to see if it would work. Painfully slow but the runner did fine.

That's good to know Kevin. Do you think it'll be CE marked or whatever it is for the Uk?
