Project 6x6

Just came across this. What happened to this beast in the end?

Our fabricator went on walkabout for a while but now he is back and doing catchup at one hell of a rate. The backlog of other work which includes a new fancy workshop is nearly done so some of these toys can be brought forward very soon.

Mick Dundee on the right our auzzie fabricator. Good while he can poke up with being here :laugh1:

@aspenarb   I spotted a Foden Speedstar (i tink thas what it's called) on Facebook earlier today and it reminded me of yer 6be6 Iveco,  has the project come to a temporary standstihl ?

Very temporary, my youngest nipper has decided he wants to take over the company so instead of retiring and flogging everything off I will be getting lots of workshop/toy time to get all this stuff finished off and pushed into service.

Dug the old girl out of hibernation yesterday and chucked a bucket of water over it , put two batteries on there and the thing fired up as if it was used an hour ago . Freed off the brakes and its good to trundle back to the workshop

Beware the fuel lines having corroded. Like most things being used keeps problems at bay  but at 3MPG it works out expensive, especially if the fuel lines leak.
