another stolen defender

a mate of mine had his td5 90 hard top stolen from outside his house in hertford last night, its an oslo blue county spec, just been waxoiled, general grabber at2s and boost alloy wheels, reg no: av 03 kyh

he only got it 6 months ago after months of searching for a mint one and hes absolutely gutted: thumbdown:

Heard a burger van was stolen in Sheffield area and he got it back using Facebook, asking people to look out for it...

Hi mate there was aot near being nicked mate it night on my last td5 the before fitted a tracker and a brake gramp it a night thanks Jon

I use a steering lock and wired a fuel cut off switch to the pump. It won't stop it from being nicked but will hopefully slow em down!! Hope he gets it's back.

its been shared by at least 20 people on facebook now,

in the last week amongst me and 2 mates with defenders we have acquired 2 tracking devices, 2 cut off switches and a removable steering wheel!

Not a wise idea to anounce on a public forum you have trackers imo.

Sorry to hear about the theft, one of the down sides to landies is being so easy to wring.

My mates 55 plate defender is fairly mint and he often cant start it and he has his own key.

Hope your mate gets his back though.
