husq 372?

How many of you guys are using a husqvarna 372 on a 20" bar? and how have you got on with it? had any problems etc. I'm thinking of buying one as my main ground saw to use.

 

Its either that or i go for a stihl ms461 on a 20" bar which i have heard good things about.

 

any comments would be very helpful!

Got a " spud ported " 372 on a 24" . Great saw as far as I am concerned !

I have one on a 20" I try and leave it at home if possible ... Not my favourite saw its proved to be a Friday afternoon saw but many rave about them.. maybe a 461 as it has a little more power would be a good choice or a 576xp... But as an over all ground saw I prefere the 560 nice and light.. Horses for courses I guess.

Stock, the 461 will have much more grunt. The 372 has far better AV, though. It should pull a 20 fine.

I've got a 372 and it's a great saw. Dad's got a 461 and that also seems very good. I think you'd be happy with either - but i'd go for the 372.

372 xp is nice but TBh I have found them over 18" a bit slow....

How about an MS441 with the Autotune with a 20? Never known a sawn to accelerate so fast.

 

Jonesie did it for a good price about 12 months ago and its chewed some wood since!

I run my 372 on a 24inch but like stubby mines bin spud ported

iv got a 441 and it stays at home now most the time
