Any one bought these boots recently?

Partner bought a pair only 3 weeks old and they have split at toes along seam, were they a dud batch / do we risk replacing, or get something different when we take them back? they were bought as what he had was killing his feet (Meindl) and these boots seemed most comfortable in shop - he has worn almost every make over the years and still not found anything comfortable, and has never seen a pair of boots do this before!

Ohhh and Buy the klima airs !!

Point taken son! I've read the review, they were bought as they were the most comfortable boots in the shop, but will be taking them back and getting a refund..

are the klima airs wide fitting, who would you order from?

Sorry I meant the zermats, as they are gortex ... Only problem is I guess you will be wearing them in the bogs of keilder and the zermats are not that high ! How did dad get on with the klima airs in there ? I always found both pretty water tight when standing in water fishing all day!

Either jones or clarkes have them on there sites but I had to buy of clarkes as no one else had them in stock last time I wanted them and I believe they are the main distributer now for Pfanner gear.
