They certainly have some awesome equipment in the states, especially the grabs and cranes etc.

 

The trucks I have seen before on First Response Team of America who responded to the site of the school following the recent tornado in Oklahoma City.

Can't be that much of a beast if their logging up those funny short lengths of timber. Wouldn't you just do full lengths into the back of the truck. Less saw dust. Less clear up. Yeah I know. They probably know what their doing.

 

I have watched all of their videos and can only assume that they have a log splitter for the big stuff which will on take up to a certain length. The guy on the grapple cuts all of the timber to the same length.

 

The videos of the camera on the loader are excellent. He knows what he is doing, raking up with a log every day without having to have a digger on site must save huge amounts of time.

i thought the same about the short lengths ... or maybe the tall guy who normally cuts them was off that day lol

Theyre really good! Use it on tidying gravel of lawn mostly... after the gritty snow mounds.

On one of his videos they're removing a large tree next to house. One guy operating the crane from the tree and one guy loading a big chipper with that mini loader.

A big tree down and gone fast with two men and almost no physical effort. Very impressive.

I'm even more envious!
