Done my 2 day assesment and got my certifacate. It was more like a course for beginers but as I had done it before the hedge layer who was teaching focused alot on me and helped me brush up on my skills, and taught me stuff I didnt already know!!!!!!!!! All in all a bloody good weekend!!!! :001_smile:

Look in your local papers, websites and magazines for Hedge Laying competitions.

I've taken part in a few as a novice, and even won one.

They are good fun! You meet loads of old boy tree surgeons and farmers who give you loads of tips and help.

Its not dying out quite yet, but good on ya for keeping it alive!

Most competitions are also sponsered by local beer companys and you get to take a free case just for taking part.:001_smile:
