Are the 15" .325 bars for use with lopro chain?

Hi Chris - no these 15" bars cannot be used with the oregon .325 lo pro chain (95vpx)... I'd need to get some bars with the same mount but the guage would have to be .050 and same for the nose.

 

 

Interestingly (to me anyway ) Sugihara are the only manufacturer to match the nose sprocket guage to the bar guage i.e. for Oregon Powermatch bars they are all .063 whereas the husky sugi replaceable noses are .058 and the stihl ones .063.

Ha ha! They are attractive and the finish holds well - like the missus you notice when the first couple of wrinkles and scratches appear but then as they add up you stop worrying about it:lol:

Hi Sam - unfortunately they have just found that because the 550 and 560 don't have the plates that go up against the bar, there can be bar oil leaking back and down by the mounting bolts.

 

Not a lot - but it's not ideal.

 

 

The 13" and 15" bars have the BM mount to go on Echo saws as well and on all other Huskys other than the 550 and 560 this is fine...

 

 

The 18" solid Sugi is a dedicated Husky mount and will go on your 560 but is is .325 .058 72 drive links.

Are you planning on getting the right patern 15" sugi bars for the 550xp at some point as I'd be interested in one when the Oregon that is on my 550 wears out
