If you guys google 'Lochnagar crater' then you will lose several hours in awe and more following the links and history.

I wanted to revisit the Somme again anyway and this is just the best excuse possible to get in with the experts.

I may ask my ole Dad to come over and swing a billhook for a day or so.

Good on you Lochnager and great call Ty - please post some pics of the working party. I hope to visit the Somme one day (I'm ashamed to say i have not been yet) - Normandy was a humbling experience last year. The work you are doing is of great importance - this history needs to be kept in the public eye ad infinitum.

Its an open job offer for the late May Bank holiday.

If you are inclined then get in touch with the O.P and come along!

You can play with the famous Quadchip but no touching or I'll have to contact social services and use an anatomically correct chipper doll to find where you've been fiddling with the controls...hhh!:biggrin:

Frankly I'm looking forward to it as a busmens holiday.
