Aaah.... Truro, done bit there as well.... Some work in Lemon Quay, and round the corner on Newham Road. Did Chris Harrison Law [the old M&S offices] as well, and a bit for Winter Rule [now Francis Clark] before they built their new office building... I like Truro, nice little town :thumbup1:

I was there last year and hardly recognised the place, having spent 20+ years there. One way systems all different, my old shop (Truro Photographic) is now a butchers, every other shop is a coffee shop, all the pubs have gone "up market" except the crab and ale. went for a beer at the pandorra and it had burnt down, "Oh la vache" as the french would say!

Sorry to be pedantic, but as a proud Cornishman, Truro is our one and only city!

I guess everyone has their favourite place, and Fowey is ours. We get down whenever we get the chance.

In the winter its just for a walk and a meal, in summer we take our boat on as many Sundays as possible and launch on that slip in the picture.

There is a little blue and white boat in the middle of the picture and to the right is a very small orange buoy. This is the mooring where we put the boat for 1 week every year when we rent a cottage just out of sight on the right.

Roll on the spring.
