Saying that the rw needs the hitch to grab in order to work well that's just common sense so at you saying the Hh doesn't need the hitch to grab which by the look of it is wrong, I'm worried that people are looking at comments and are going to go out and hurt themselves because they haven't set things up right.

No nobody quoted that.

The hitch, dog bone and steel karab are what provide the friction on the HH.

If you substitute one of those components for something else, the friction will be applied in a different way and wont work as designed.

It's all irrelevant anyway as the dogbone must be held securely in place by the hitch cord. I said this earlier.

Its the afternoon here mate been 30c all day :), im not angry i enjoy discussing with Oldmill thats whats this forums for i just want to make sure im understanding him properly, it was stated that with the RW you need the hitch to grab on a single line but you would with the HH wouldnt you? your comment was a bit vague for myself im more than likely going to pick one up when i have the spare cash.
