Woah, did you get the nailer/stapler or just the nailer? Only a few pounds between them.

Staples are more effective at holding closeboard on. If you haven't got the combined model, then I suggest you change the order for the sake of a couple of quid. :thumbup1:

oops only the nailer only £22 so no real loss.

Note to self must stop compulsive buys on ebay :001_smile:

I didn't consider the Silverline as I assumed cheap would be rubbish.

Too late now for me though.

Anyway, I just used my Quickload to fix up my garden fence because whoever built it used a Brad Gun so the feather edges are peeling off.

Wow, it's a dream not fumbling in the pocket for nails then dropping half of them then hammering my thumb!

Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

I used my new Quickload on Friday for five bays of f/edge.

Firstly, I can't believe how fast the process is with a gun!

Secondly, I can't believe I didn't buy one last year!

Anyway, it worked perfectly and the only issue being too much power but I've found out how to adjust that.

The design is the same as the Paslode so it's very easy to use. The belt hook is in the way all the time so I'll be taking it off. Otherwise I'm very happy.

I got it from here and Lenny is very knowledgable:

I had mine out for some partitions in the sheep shed, didnt like the old gas and frosty weather, so I found a new use for the lamb warming box.

(as its usually my own grass, I dont get to sit down)

Yep its about this time of the year we start to get peeved off with the Paslodes as the gas doesnt like the cold weather.

1 gas in the gun and 1 in your pocket soon gets boring...

I always start looking at compressor/framing gun combo's during the winter months:biggrin:
