You’d just need to have the central weight biased to towards the rear axle to lift the front up, don’t think it’s biased past the tailgate to self tip, would have stopped him going on the road had it done that though!

The front part is an trailer but it carries the weight of the trailer so not illegal.
 
7 A heavy motor car or a motor car not described in item 1, 3 or 4 2 trailers if one of them is a towing implement and part of the other is secured to and either rests on or is suspended from that implement, 1 trailer in any other case
8 An agricultural motor vehicle (a) in respect of trailers other than agricultural trailers and agricultural trailed appliances, such trailers as are permitted under items 5, 6 or 7 above,as the case may be; or (b) in respect of agricultural trailers and agricultural trailed appliances — (i) 2 unladen agricultural trailers, or (ii)1 agricultural trailer and 1 agricultural trailed appliance, or (iii)2 agricultural trailed appliances

So could we class a chipper as a agriculture implement so tow a hulking great chipper behind a silages trailer behind a tractor?

For forestry work of course [emoji6]

As to appeal to agri registration or the ordering of what you haul done by weight, size, etc, then experience & trained competence should answer that - which in your case is not in question, given your advertised kit 🙂

You can tow two trailer with a tractor as long as

1, both trailers are empty.

2, both trailers are agri implement.

3, one is a trailer & one is an implement.

 

You need the middle unit to be rated to tow the rear unit & all weight MAMS MLPM Axle weights & GTW must be complied with.
