Hi Rough Hewn, the crane comes with a 300mm approx square plate on the base so I welded it to a 600mm square plate that is bolted through the side rail, front rail and goes down through the bed and picks up the main chassis rail with spaces between the bed and rail to keep it all nice and rigid.  Will try and find a pic if I can.
