What I saw was 20 years ago.

It was simmilar to this ,http://cgi.ebay.com/CHAIN-SAW-ATTACHMENT-CHAINSAW-TOOL-WOOD-WORKING-PEELER_W0QQitemZ110346711282QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090204?IMSfp=TL090204171004r37876

but it had lots of chainsaw chain type cutters set in the revolving drum. It was lethal.

I have used one of these tools and the do work quite well once you get the hang of it.

But I would of thought that a tractor driven post de- barking machine with some sort of feed table would have been a better idea.

They quite happily take the diameter and make nice round gate posts, strainers and fencing posts but I would think you would have to support the ends as it feeds through.

The company i got my mill off- Just Saws, used to be part of chart-ricmonds, sell a chainsaw attachment:Just Saws: Hud-Son accessories Think it has planer blades not chainsaw teeth.

Has anyone ever used one of theese??

I have been looking into getting some log-wizzards sent over from america but I'm not sure how long the nose bearings will last for on the saw with the added vibration.
