advice on pole saws?

I,m wanting to buy a pole saw for hedge topping and general use, anyone got any models ti go for?

Personally if it says Stihl on it, I recommend it.

I love my pole saw. Not sure of the model number, it's the 4 mix big 1:thumbup:

Wot u been smoking? LoL..They are excellent machines. I have had 3 sets up to now but finally bought a brand new one and it is cracking. Whey do you say their crap, you need to explain please..

i can recommend the stihl ht101 Jack,starts and runs lovely.

Had nothing but problems with the works one, pig to start, keeps cutting out on tick over, head occasionally swivels

Have you Changed the hi , low settings from there factory setting?

If the head swivels, tighten up the torxs.

New is always best,you get a warranty,& these machines do get a thrashing sometimes.

Second hand, as that will keep the cost down, and the older engines are easier to maintain
