As said Duxford H&S is the only place close to Cambridge but they don't have much on display.

Landmark Trading at Stamford is alright but to see it all, either a trip to FR Jones or wait for the trade shows to start.

Chilli, I guess from SG8 that your somewhere near Royston.

Where abouts are you Oak Oracle?

I'm at Bar Hill.

A Cambs rec climb will have to be sorted soon.

Thanks for input. I spoke with a guy from Duxford H&S, very helpful but quoted me best part of 400£ for the new Kolibri harness....

Im central cambridge, so close to both Chilli and you.

defiantly keen for that, Im very new to climbing so it would be great to get some advice and see how the pros do it!!!

Sup Oracle, Im based in south cambs and Im looking to link up with people for a rec climb as well, weather is just a bit too horrible for my liking at the moment!

Have you got any idea of where you want to hit up?

Do you have your own gear as well?

All these people around Cambridge and I never knew.

If we can't find some nice biggies, theres some half decent Oaks very close to me that I practiced in when starting off.

I'd probably be looking at early March - MAY have warmed a bit by ten.

I may have had some time on the zigzag by then.

Theres a belt of trees that run between Bar Hill and Dry Dryton. Some nice learner trees in there. It's used a bit by dog walkers but we shouldn't get disturbed.

Yes, pre-ordered the zigzag.

I mail order if I need thing quick, mostly from FR Jones.

The closest drives to see before you buy are either Landmark Trading or BTS.
