When you going to get that thing finished and unleashed on the world?

Treebloke, I'd be happy with that daf would look good working Next to my Rb44, a fleet of drab NATO green ;)

It may not be a mog but I bet you could have a few of these for the price of 1mog!

Love it

A few pics of our DAF, the problem with having the crane mounted where it is on the back is it limits the length of timber it will carry unless you can tow a trailer.

DAF is a good truck but it's not a Unimog and never will be or do the same amount of work.

I wouldn't bother with a rear mounted crane as unless you are towng you won't get much on, and that DAF won't wanna tow much hey, here's a few of my mine and i get away with overhang if needed:-)

Nice truck, I used to have a 4x4 iveco (9.5 ton) with a crane and chip box on it with a netting top. It used to surprise me where it would go off road. Got a little expensive when I had the transfer box rebuilt after the input bearing failed !

Only advantage with the rear mounted crane, is better reach to the rear when one has reversed in as far as poss.

ps

I like the close mounted winch to winch the stuff within the cranes reach.

tidy

Also handy if you want to load and pull a trailer.
