Let me guess...

A tall thin guy with a beard full of rollups, no chipper and an old estate car?

Yes, I know him, he's about 2 hours West from us and I guess you worked mostly for Brits then.

We've always lot's on but varied work.

Sheds, fencing, trees, stumps, hedges, landscaping...

We are near Rennes and most of our clients are French.
