Some more of the same on a rather ill rown I took out yesterday

 

Any decay in the cross section John, or was it just confined to the roots ?

You could see some start to brakedown into a bit of cubical decay on 1 side but not much but the acacia we took out on the same site was well gon below ground level when I started grinding it.

Possible Xerocomellus chrysenteron (red cracking bolete)
