what are these huskies worth?

hello, i am 16 year old and i do the odd bit of fencing/hedging/logs. i decided to spend all my christmas money (and a bit more) on a 41 with 15" .325, a 61 with 20" 3/8, and a 281xp with 24" 3/8. they cost me 400 quid, and after putting new chains on and replaceing lost fuel caps etc they all run brilliantly. i would just like to know what they are worth, and any of your experience with these saws

Difficult to tell without pics but: -

 

41 - £80 - 120

61 - £80 - 150

281 - £230 - 350

 

They are all old school saws, the 281XPs are still very much sought after pro saws, the 61 are robust home logging saws and the 41 is a lighter home owner saw

You remind me of me, when I was your age or a bit younger I got my first saw a 44 husky, I spent weeks stripping it fiddling and fetleing it, It was a solid old school saw and good to learn the ins and outs on. I went away to Ag. college to study forestry when i was 16 and learnt that I didn't know as much as i thought i did, regarding safety saw use and maintenance. If you do one thing, get yourself on a proper CS30 etc. course and learn how to be safe with them. I and a lot of others on here will have plenty of horror stories to tell from our carreers. Before you think me an old fart, I am 30. I respect totally what you are doing, if only more people were so inclined, but I know what its like to be 16 with a chainsaw too. If you need any advice ask.

Nice 281, but make sure ya get yourself some PPE! I'm 22 and I nearly took my leg off with a similar size saw, didn't know bout the chainbreak or PPE, drop started the saw, it locked with the compression, swung round and took a few chunks out my shin

I was bloody suprised lol. Chainsaw trousers could have prevented this easily. One second distraction, one week without being able to work. Because of where it was it kept popping stitches sadly.
