May I suggest you change the transmission oil and filters.Several Maxuums have been used with out the trailer brakes coupled allowing brake dust and filings to contaminate the hydraulic system causing steering, braking, gear selection and other hydraulic problems.

how can they contaminate if they not coupled??

good idea to change all filters though and on a regular basis we get lots of problems with Hyd circuits due to basic servicing not being carried out

Think he means it contaminates cause your making the brakes on the tractor work harder by not coupling the trailer brakes up

Had a 5130 on a farm I worked on years ago, was opened up too, what a beast and such a nice sounding engine, was supprissed what it could out pull, not many mx110 and mx135's could keep up with it. Was a killer on a buckrake. Looks like you've got yourself a nice tractor there.
