Makita ! I've got the EA4300 model. 18" bar,slightly heavy i would say, but solidly built. Costs just a fraction over your £350 budget.

If you want the leftfield makita option, better go for the Makita DCS5031-45 model it looks to be approx the 550xp eqivalent.
