not trying to be negative but can someone please explain why youd use a HH for DbRT? what advantage does it have in this configuration over a HC? i thought we were always trying to get rid of friction on DbRT, not adding it. Though of course i may be totally missing the point but i dont get it.

The other view might be that it offers the same DRT variations AND the option of SRT.

I was more speaking regarding Ddrt options, a hitchclimber offers quick and easy adjustment of friction chord length and knot types, variation of karabiner s plus its easier to get hold of a hitchclimber and majority of systems can be used srt with a wrench.
