2-3 months tree work in Gloucestershire

I am looking for a qualified and experienced climber and all-rounder to join our staff for 2-3 months for a range of tree work required on a small estate just outside Stow-on-the-Wold which shows the signs of 20 years of neglect. Felling of some large and sadly diseased specimens, pollarding and pruning of many trees, reshaping, crown lifts and thinning all over the place, some stump grinding, logging and all sorts.

We could also provide accommodation in one of small cottages if that suited as part of the package.

 

References and examples of work essential.

 

Rates to be agreed will be competitive and can be freelance per day rates or salaried through PAYE as preferred.

 

One existing gardener to be involved in process, and - when more hands required - we would propose to draft in more short-term freelance support as and when needed.

It does indeed sound like a lovely opportunity. If the position was more permanent I’d be very interested as always wanted to work a private estate. It would however be lovely to see the fruits of ones labour and plan the project long-term instead of a short-term fix.
