I have used one of these, or one very similar with JOSH in Sweden! It worked quite well, but they can slip out or can sink into the ground instead of pushing the tree (especially if the ground is soft!) But again, look at the price!! My money would be spent on a decent turfer!! Much more useful all round then the other 2 i reckon!!

Norwood used to do something similar but they never really seemed to be that popular over here.

I like the idea of the hydraulic wedge over using a bottle jack as there looks to be less set up time.

Still unsure as to how much use it would get in reality though as if there were enough trees in the wood to do that were going to be a pig to wedge over, then surely it's as likely to end up with a tractor and winch on site?

Got all excited when some1 said I could get 1 in the uk but not at over 1k. Think at that sort of money I could justify a lugall winch or even get 1 of the honda power winches proclimber wer selling at the apf as would have far more application's.

At about 300ish I might have talked myself into it but just can not why it costs the same as a new 880?

Think Clark's sell their own yellow version now...

Mark, we are the UK distributor for the Swiss manufacturer, so the one we sell is exactly the same as those available throughout Europe. They've recently changed their colour from blue to yellow :)

Getting excellent feed back from customers who have bought them...

Thats still far too expensive for what it is-hydraulic bottle, a couple of handles and a fancy wedge-cant justify the expence. If it was half the price I would probably talk myself round but 1-3-8-no chance...Nick Pearson, Timberline-Roe Ltd.

Used one of Clarks in the woods defiantly one off the best things I have used way less work effort and there not heavy at all! I had a look at the price tag and decided to build one myself ended up costing me £86 so it's saved me a few pennies! Changed a couple off things like the screw valve found they come loose easily!
