Don't get me wrong mucker, bats, schmats, that 'king survey has cost me monkey!

I was hoping i had no signs of em when i peeled the roof off.... fortunately i didnt, but had kinda convinced myself i would do cos theyve been outside front of house for a long while now. Been a bloody nightmare i guess if they had though!

It's a bit of a nonsense really.  I replaced the entire roof about 5 years ago under building regs - no bat survey

I now want a change of use for the building and to add a dorma but that needs a planning app and planning app needs a bat survey.

It's a crazy system....

Snap, renovated full house, built extension etc, re roof yada yada..... no request on survey or anything.
Then put proposal in to build garage and had to provide photo evidence that there were no traces of bats etc. ?‍♂️ ludicrous!

Monterey Cypress Takedown from today. Had a power shutdown but the power company was running late which resulted in us sat on our arses for 3 hours waiting for them to turn up. So was guns blazing when they finally turned up. Will chog down to fellable height and knock it over tomorrow

Tag teamed a crane removal Monday. Small drop zone and a large framework of branches so there was a bunch of picks, probably well over 30 which made for quite a long day. It was humid as anything and I was wrecked the next day, totally out of shape!
