started these two macs today, bit bigger than the norm for us, but got a new mega bollard and did some good whole limb balances, and sunny too!

I spent some time in co. Wexford recently and saw loads of biggish, crappy wind blown Maccys like that, was there some sort of fashion for them in the 70s?

ye a lot of nice big macs around, always get hammered by the storms though, this one had a lot of dead and broken branches so had to be careful over the flat roof!

We took down a big fir today. On a steep bank so built a pterodactyl nest for the chunks. About 36" dbh, only 52 years old. The site was logged in the late 60's.

Got the timber lorry in to get some sticks away. Had to use a chain to get them near enough to the grab.
