I spoke to husquvarna direct and they said to take it up with the dealer, I told them that the dealer gave me their number and husky were not happy with the dealer.

Sounds familiar. I had a small problem with one of my saws, took it to the dealer, they said phone Husky. Phoned and got same reply as you that the dealer shouldn't be getting me to phone.

I bet its the same dealer

Wonder how many of you guys have the side cover off once a week and clean the crud out of the chain brake:001_rolleyes:

Seen plenty of horror stories in my time:lol:

Is the thing wearing through or just plain snapping?

I clean my saw every week:) the break band snaps in the same place each time, husky know its a problem and are working on it apparently;)

Hodge someone I know went through a couple of starter bits in little time on a 560 so complained to dealer. One of the first things he asked was are you using de comp buttons every start. No was the answer the dealer reckon that was why. Can't remember the details of why but he said every time you start one of the new saws you need de comp in. I still forget all the time.

Also our 550s had a new carb already and both are still pretty odd on the starting. Also our 395 decides to cut out after half a tank usual mid cut. Then wont start til you fill up. also one day itll run fine the next seems like a tuning problem. Our 372 looks like its ok now but was funny for a while. We moved camps but haven't been particularly impressed so far. Don't get me wrong there all good saws but surely we can't be that unlucky to get a bad batch on everyone.
