What is the largest bar you can run on a 357

Mine comfortably runs an 18" bar. Never tried a longer one.

The technical data says 13 - 24" but you will find 15" is good, fast and fun - it will take up to an 18" well but anything over is a bit large IMO"

Thanks folks, ive got mine on 13" at the moment and is lovely as im using it up the tree a bit more. My second question which i should of put in my first post was whats the biggest comfortable size but spud you answered that for me thanks bro

Husky are full of poo IMO, u really wouldn't want a 24" on a 357, TBH I really never got on with my 357, I used to run a 16" on my 346 xp or get the 372 and run between an 18" - 24", then 395 xp on a 36". The 357 never really cut it for Me.

Have a 346xp at work with a 15" bar and is nice and small/light/alot less compression when starting and in my eyes beats the 357, we also have a 372 and I dont get on with it

 

I went out and bought a 357 after my cs31 and she is serving me well but now after using a 346 im like dohh

15 on mine but regularly run it with 18, I love my 357 though recently got a 576xp and already have a 395 so find that now i would prefer a 346 for the small stuff

I run 15" on mine mostly but it'll take an 18" fine. As far as I know the biggest bar you will find in small mount husky is either 18 or 20" (I've never seen a 20" but I'm sure I've seen it listed).

 

357's are a funny thing as no two seem to be the same - some go like stink and never miss a beat, and some run OK but aren't mega reliable.

 

Out of curiosity, what don't you like about the 372, Arran?
