I'd appreciate if everyone could spare a few moments to visit these charities home pages and vote in the above poll. The charity chosen will be receiving all proceeds from an upcoming charity event to be held soon on Arbtalk

Thankyou

A very difficult choice but 'Alfie' sold it for me.

Quite often customers ask if id cut an old stump down "cos it will only take a few seconds with your saw" I bet im not the only one on hear thats herd that one! or the odd dead branch, things that they never ask for when your there doing the quote. Up unitll now ive never charged for doing this as by not doing it or saying that you want more money when they obviosly want it done for free could lead to bad relation no recomendations etc so Id decided a few weeks ago that id charge them a small amount and that would go to charity poss the one chosen on hear, what do you think.

I would go with thechildrenstrust because it seems the 'promise dreams' staff just want to hang out with famous people to tell all their friends about it and the director of the 'cauldwellcharity' is wearing one of those 'look at me I'm a capitalist and proud' pin stripe suits (untrustworthy).

The Childrens trust seem the most genuine

I personally give money to local cancer hospices.

Excellent idea.

Just to stir the pot some; and to have a chance to post something that really takes me back as a climber; in ways that normal folk can't really imagine(though they are touched too)/ the freedom of flight as we know it, given to those without much any freedoms. i'll toss this off beat idea out:

Trails Edge Vid from Trails Edge Camp at Univ. of Michigan Med School/Motts Children Hospital
