I work on £15/hr for pedestrian mowing. But normally price per job. If you can get more then good luck to you. Market conditions round here won't sustain it.

Yes £15/hr will not make you rich but it will give you a steady income.

I normally work on £25/hr for the ride on, not got much work for it at the moment though, when you look at what people are charging for 50k's worth of tractor it's then I can't understand how they are even paying for the machine.

Yeh thanks guys, Spons is now in the bin, they must have messed up the unit rate for pedestrian mowing. After doing an evenings worth of spreadsheet calculations, it seems to be more realistic at £15/100m2. Well thats what im going for any way.

How long is 100m2 going to take to cut? lets say with a 30inch condor or similar.

Sounds a beast jon and must need plenty of horses to power it, but i bet you cant get it into a typical back garden:laugh1::laugh1:

you could cut a 100m^2 (10m x10m) with a 53cm 20.9" mower in 2 minutes and 18seconds if you did not over lap and were not picking up as predestion mowers travel at around 5km/hr (1.4m/s) the same speed as an avarage human walking
