Traditional English Longbow course, August bank holiday, Cumbria

Recommended Posts

We have 3 places left on our traditional English longbow course 25th-27th August.

Enjoy the long weekend with Longbow specialist Tony Saunders, learning how to manipulate and craft a piece of Ash into one of the most important weapons in British history.

Your longbow will be bespoke to you, and you will also learn how to make a bowstring and arrows.

The course is run at Hay Bridge nature reserve near Bouth in the South Lakes, Cumbria.

Camping is available in the woods and there will be a campfire in the evening, plus the chance to see some stunning wildlife.

Whether you interested in archery or just a big kid this is a great and extremely satisfying course.

£195 for 3 days
