A new way i've been using my lanyard

Just wanting to know peoples thoughts on using a lanyard like this for work positioning? I've been using it like this for the last couple of days and it's really quite comfortable and puts me in an excellent cutting position as it kind of equalizes my center pull on the bridge and the side pull on the lanyard if that makes sense? Lol

One disadvantage with a setup like that, is that your bridge becomes a single point of failure.

 

If your Silky takes out your bridge you're on a fast descend.

 

Or?

 

This quote is a bit flawed as if someone had two load bearing anchor points then the bridge is always going to be a single point of failure unless your close to the stem and using side ds
