A lot of people confused that it might be art...who said it was "Art"?....it,s whatever you want it to be!...if you don,t grt it or like it...don,t look at it. p.s "orange,Red ,yellow" went for 86 million dollers in auction recently...that is described as Modern art...check it out.

In my opinion Dave...More like a load of Pollocks!....not even Kandinsky would appreciate that!

It's going in the local rag & will be interesting to see what the hampsteadites think about it.

 

Not sure what ecological damage the acrylic paint may have caused in the long term, but our dead wood volumes are a special assett to the heath & someone just coming along and not even having the courtesy to engage with us is (imo) both arogant & ignorant :thumbdown:

Going back to the "Nash" thread Dave,i don,t know if you saw my thread on my iminent interview at Kew Gardens...Well,it occured yesterday.I shall post a follow up when i have more info..My panel included Mr Tony Kirkham who asked me what i thought of one specific sculpture of Nash,s..."A Superb peice of wood carving",i replied....That,s what i thought was his retort....until i was informed that it is in fact....Bronze!.......the plot thickens...

:congrats: well said, some very interesting projects could come from engaging with you all and as you say it's a common courtesy.

Clearly this person assumed permission would be denied:thumbdown:
