We have a u140l they are quite rare the utilitys over hear had a few but moastly had the smaller u100 and 90's

Hears ours the 4 speed box could have a better ratio setup but has done well past 12 year or so

we run a 7" ducker on the front and a 12m mewp on the back

"Zapfwelle hinten" means "Power take off rear"

Thank you !

Going to have to learn a bit of German terminology if I am to get the right Mog from the source ..... if you know what I mean.

Google translation helps, but it is far from perfect.

Do you know if 4 speed is the only option. Seems a bit limited, even with low/high.

What has your service record been like ? Must have done you well if you have been running it for 12 years ;-)

Umm service record has been exspencive it times a cople of engine rebuilds. but in prespective should be exspected as its running all day everyday And more than pays for its own repairs and running

You can get splitter box fitted my father had wanted from the off set but its been bussy working all these years its the. Pull away enitaly that it struggles when loaded but ones use to it you can live with it .

The u100 and u90 have a five speed but i have no exsperiance with them

As you suggest two engine rebuilds might seem a little much, but again as you say, running all day does tot up the hours .....

Have parts been easy enough to get hold of?

Yes, I did wonder about the pull off power when loaded. Not helped if you fit large tires either.

Have you done much towing with it?

We do a lot of traveling in it and tot up to around the 200 mile a day mark one of the rebuilds was a droped ring the other. I think was the same i think was befor i was on firm. Parts are fairly easy to get a hold of we use ac price he fabed our mogs and is second to none with mogs in my opinion parts quite ofted have to come from germany but dont take long to come

as for towing have no exspereance we only have a 50 mm ball on the u140l and only pulled small plant tralier behind it there is a poast from a bloke with a u140 swb who tows a 10 or 13 t behind it on the unimogs rock page some where
