I see F R Jones now have the Stein Vega harness in stock.

Who is going to be the guinea pig then? Or is there already an early bird that can report feedback?

Seen it at my local arb show and liked it but didn't get to give it a test run. I know they haven't yet made a seat for it (but hear this may be put into practice soon) retails at £200 + VAT ish.

I did like the really cool shackles on the bridge and also the little tool clip areas are adjustable to go to whatever size you wish... cool ey?

Hi Guys i can give you feedback, i have been testing one for a good few months now and its not a bad harness at all. Lots of places to hang kit (customizable loops) and a rear hanging point for your saw. Very much placed in the market to compete with the Petzls. I did occasionally get hip pinch but that was on the odd occasion when i had my 395 hanging on the side rather than the rear point. You can also put a small crab just above the rear attachment point which is very handy for shortening up the saw lanyard. Price is good too. I've given it a massive kicking in testing and no stitching has failed and it looks like it has a good few miles left on the clock still.

Would be nice if F R Jones & Son could bring their climbing wall and the Stein Vega harness along to the Bentley Wood fair this year.:001_smile:

Maybe if your very lucky, there will be a tree for you to use it in instead.

Food for thought! :001_tt2:
