Help - planting location as a legacy in NW

I am trying to help an elderly gentleman, who with no children, is looking to leave a legacy. As a child he enjoyed mature Monkey Puzzles and he wants to pass on this enjoyment to future generations.

He is looking for a location to plant a number of Monkey Puzzles, preferably a public place and in the North West.

Can anyone recommend an Arboretum or visitor attraction with dinosaurs (not living!) in which a Gondwana (Gondwanaland) treescape could be created? Would a Local Authority T.O. consider this?

For the record, I am pointing him towards local suppliers, there is no self interest in this for me!!

Thank you in advance

I used to ride my bike through Daisy Nook in the mid- and late-70s (as a very young teen). The challenge was to ride up the 1 in 6 part going back from Failsworth towards Droylsden. Wonder what it looks like now as I've not been through there in over 30 years.

There is a place called Millcroft tea gardens in Norden, part of Rochdale MBC there is already some fine Monkey Puzzles up there the area would lend it's self beautifully to more, it is close to 3 owls bird sanctuary, closed for the moment, but would be worth speaking to it's trustees(I have no connection or personal interest)

I hope he acheives his aim.
