Why are you lot not working today and are on here ??

 

Person i usually subbie climb to said they'd ring monday and let me know what days this week they need me. rang and said wed thur fri. so left me scratching my head today. Really need to sort out getting told in way more advance from this company.

 

Anyhow i've been to the bank, and am waiting for the courier to call to pick up my stump grinder wheel, as the multi tip one i ordered wasn't the same as mine so getting one made up off my old one. Alls not lost

 

so whats your excuse??

The French...

There are 4 National holidays in May.

Today, it is to celebrate the end of WW2.

Last Tuesday it was to give ALL workers the day off

(I worked regardless and for good money too)

There are 2 more to go this month.

I view the holidays as a day lost as I am not an employee

I got nothing on so spending the day split between on er and with my son. Going out later to the beach.

They guy I normally work for said last week that he had work for me on Tuesday then when I rang him yesterday afternoon he said that he didn't need me any more.....frustrating but I've been able to get on with lots of maintenance / paperwork so its not a completely wasted day!

Been out maintenance-mowing around trees i planted up about 3 years ago, about an acre. Now gonna service the Jo-Beau ready for this seasons onslaught, as bad health meant it just got pushed in the shed and left.

revision for exams this week, got urban forest management tomorrow and applied plant science and biotechnology on friday. then uni is done with!

just doing some last-minute revision for my final exam on Planning and Tree and then finish off a business plan for college and complete Vocational Placement diary and thats me done for uni.:thumbup:
