Little Ian Bell fell in to the River Wear 10 days a go when it was in flood, today his body has been found 3 miles downstream, i hope his parents and grandparents can rest after 10 days of searching, and start grieving now, so sad when a friend loses a child.

Very sad indeed. The same thing happened to my dad and uncles. My old man aged 7 was swimming, his bro (aged 14) dived in to help, got my dad out then had difficulties. The oldest bro (aged 21) dived in to saved middle bro and was washed away by flash floods on the river Swale, N Yorks.

They found his body a week or so later. A lot of things in my families life changed as a result of that tragic day.

I hope Ian's family can put it behind them as best they can.

RIP
