SpiderJack cams

I love the Spiderjack, but they need to figure out a way to make the cams last longer. I'm going though one every month to a month and a half. I use the wood thumb brake always, and have fairly clean ropes. Yet I still burn through them.

Yeh thats the same with me.

I have heard of filing the bottom of the cam once it has worn in order to make it flatter so it pinches the rope again is away of making a cam last longer. I found with the new lever it made it alot easier for me to open the cam and use the brake.

A month! what you using, sandpaper ropes?

I have had mine more or less 7 months and no problems with it at all. Granted i dont use it every day but i guess its done way more than a months working time. maybe you shouldnt try to be like in the video and going down as fast as you dare, you might even save yourself money!
