in my experience it will go mouldy in the large one i did exact same thing,if stacked neatly inside it just about works, the tarp causes huge amounts of sweating.

How much does yours store ash as it only appears to hold a small amount?

Approx. 14m3. I'll have to store the rest in vented bulk bags and log nets with the top covered with tarps, maybe build another shelter at some point. Obviously will keep re-filling the shelter as I sell it. I'm not turning over huge quantities.

I've done the throw it in a big pile thing and found out about the mould problem before

I was planning on putting the canvas seen on the roof and remove the tarp. Hopefully I'll leave the sides with gaps to keep the air flow. Not sure I want it to be completely full as I want to organise one side for log burners one side for open fires. So hopefully that'll solve the mould issue.

Exactly how I started off pallet shed and heap of tarps, two barns and 50cubic metres of vented contaiers and still find myself wanting more and more storeage.Never ending battle against our glorious wet weather eah.

Helps to stop mould if wood is processed on dry days instead of being wanged in wet.

Some woods are worse than others for it

Used large pallets for the floor. The frames are made from 3x2

That's a nice piece of work!

It does look a shade delicate though but as it's not very high I suppose it's not really going to be an issue.

Personally I would make the sides and back a bit more substantial to help keep more of the rain off and to keep logs spilling out. I'm thinking of putting some of that netting they use on scaffolding on mine to keep rain off yet allow plenty of air to circulate.

This is the one I built:
