Ive decided that the engine in my chipper has had it and not worth repairing! the rest of the chipper is sound really. and as i cant afford a new one i thought maybe an engine swap. the one that is in it is about 30 hp i think! if i was to fit a new engine in what do i need to take into account? can i fit an engine with slightly more power or will it change too much?

We had forest tech swadlincote put a new lobardini in our 222 back in 2008, I think it was a 32 hp non turbo. It ran great, better then our TW 190 (but messier), untill it was nicked. Fitted it cost £3078.50 including the VAT.

Probablly is still running great..
