Standards are 850mm square, but I carefully pack mine and heap up a bit on top, plus topup when you lift with the pallet forks as it sinks down again.

Mine are also guaranteed less than 20% moisture, stored under cover. I did notice the picture above, the bags are stacked outside, where they will never get the moisture content down if not covered over then are sold as seasoned ??

I was selling on ebay at 50.00 a bag mixed and 60.00 bag hardwood 2 years ago and they raced out of the yard. I wish i'd had time to develop it properly.

Dave I'd try selling yours to a firewood merchant at the moment, they'll rip your arm off and you'll get a large x-mass bonus ;)

If it's good stuff you' re giving it away - how do you retail a large bag? do you just empty into the boot of a car?

daft as it sounds we do some times. some one turnd up in posh 4x4 said chuck em the back & got bag back so thats an extra £2.30 we dont sell softwood /poplar willow all the crap goes thru bio-mass chipper for playground chip & thats better £s than logs

How do you deliver them? on the back of a tipper? do you find that you sell more logs bagged up rather than loose in the back of a tipper. How do you get them off the floor on to your truck, a guess a fork lift.

sorry for all the questions just intrested.:confused1:

We sell bags at £40 plus delivery, (usually £5 - £10) Selling around 5-10 per week at the moment and I'm quite happy with it.

Thats mixed around 80% hardwood from last years pile, stored outside.

We've never had any complaints and get lots of repeat orders.
