Stihl advance type A.

Mine are fantastic, super light, durable and cool, also waterproof. By farr the best chainsaw trousers Ive ever worn.

You obviously work in a cold world, trousers that dark, cannot be cool by definition.

The heat absorption ability of clothing that dark, in the sun, would be horrible. Perhaps you are cold blooded? Anyway glad they work for you. Miss Wales all the same. Beautiful memories.

I'd second that, type A Glatiator and the ventilation type are the best I've tried.

I've got the standard and vented type, both have rear legs zip vents, and the vented don't have the waterproof type inner coating on the fabric. The standards have gaitor type ankle cuffs but these can be removed.

Trouble is I want Type A non-all-round protection and stretch air only seem to be type C ??? J

Look at the Strech Air Gladiators. I've got them had them 8 months i think now and still look good. Few bramble tears but that is it. I got the class 2 ones rather than the class 1 on a whim. The pads are a little thicker but i still have no complaints about them. Next time i'll get class 1 though. Think they were 150 in the end of line sale.
