Hello again! Just wondering if anyone would be interested in hiring a farmi 36 road tow processor with operator in kent and further afield. Just putting the feelers out to see if I can justify buying one.

There doesn't seem to be many people in kent offering processor hire. The farm i work on can't seem to get anyone to come and process thier 20 odd tonne sitting in the yard! Any thoughts?

There's not much use in my part of Kent for them as there's soooooo many pto and whatnot on trees you would never get the timber to use a processor on.

I did look to see if one would come in use a while ago but the work has never come up yet. Most if it can be done by hand and the type of trees that we typically do are never good enough for processer and it's easier to cut with saw and hyd splitter.

Based over near Birchington. Garth if you want to send their details then the farm could be interested. The bloke they are waiting for at the moment keeps putting them off with broken bits here and there. Said he was gonna be there a month ago.

Thanks for your thoughts there Rich. I spose most coppice stuff that would be suitable goes for fencing etc, leaving the akward stuff for firewood that is no good for a processor! Catch 22. Needs a bit more thought I think.
