Just saw this on Ebay Rob, it to is a nice design but makes me think your selling yours to cheap

Prob... but it all depends on where you sell em and if they're cheap people will buy..... Looking at his feedback I'm not sure if he's sold one of these yet (on ebay anyway).

 

 

I get tired of moving furniture from one place to the next.. this year will be much more about knocking it out. :biggrin:

 

May have some more oak coming in soon and will be doing a couple more.

Hi Rob, just seen this so thought id resurect it.

Arbwork has just posted a thread about a show we did making some oak benches. I refrained from following a similar style to the one in this thread as i was concerned about the sap wood all rotting off. Did you do anything to stop this or just ignore it?

Just posted on that one - I don't worry about it - it'll take a few years to happen and after that you could re shape back to the heartwood....

 

 

Or just treat from the word go to preserve it - up to customer.
