hello

i was just wondering how much i would be looking at getting paid for being a climber. im in collage at the minute but im going to be looking for a 9-5, 5days a week 2nd climber/groundsman job for when i leave in june. ive been grounding for 2 years and im currently on 70 quid a day but the most i could ever get out of it is 2 days a week. ill have cs30.31.38. and 39(if i pass) and hopefully 40(if i can afford it) and a fist aid in the work place certificate. im a pretty good climber, fast, fit and quite competent but all my experience has been in college or climbing for my self doing small jobs for neighbours and friends.

i dont want to be getting ripped off but i dont want to be expecting more than im going to realistically get

cheers

Ed

I'd say about 70 until you get more experience.

Everyone's got to start somewhere and just because you'll have the tickets won't mean you can command top dollar straight away, if you manage to get a job with a good company I'd take whatever they off and Graft and learn and work your way up the ladder
