If it weren't for him entering stihl in the brand field, that would have neen a perfectly legitimate listing. Theres no other suggestion that its a Stihl saw in his written description

why report it. it's not a fake saw- there's nothing in the pictures parading it as anything other than a generic chinese saw. no brand names- nothing. Not even listed as such- although putting stihl oil in the title will pick up a stihl search in ebay.

Has put a disclaimer up to identify it as not being a Stihl.

That's a very clever person, it's not sthil and says no such thing at being sthil only he has sthil oil to go with it.

 

By putting stihl in the discription he will get interest from stihl buyers, it's a well known brand amoung everyone, more so that husky, so the average joe will type in stihl to get a saw to cut there logs and see this one.

 

Can't report as there is nothing wrong with the add.

 

Sadly it's another one that we know it's an imitation saw and we know it will prob go wrong in a bad way when it is used, but again it's something we can nothing about.

 

Unless the saw has been proven to be a piece of junk and dangerous and they no longer make them anymore.

This chainsaw is not a Stihl MS260 to save any confusion. That is the Stihl equivelent with regard to displacement. This saw is a 5200. Thanks

I'm more offended that he's selling that with a 20 inch bar than anything. A fool is easily parted with their money.

Well it's the sort of thing I'm against, thats a big bar for joe public to get hold of, think most of my 52cc have 18 inch bars, still big for someone who could get it without any triaining or qualifications.

The disclaimer he put up is probably because of my doing. I sent him a message.

 

I now notice that it seems I was seeing red a bit. I just don't agree with people selling these. Mainly for safety reasons!
