There seem to be a lot about here this year Stubby,most shoots round here have stopped shooting em,the hedge i,m working on now has a bit off rough grassy ground on the side of the wood and Betty shifted a couple out of there two mornings running last week,great to see them

Beautiful...but going by the size of the bird it looks more likely to be katie the kite rather then kevin👍

No problem and if your daughter named the bird and if you tell her there is a good chance of it being a female she might start asking questions like how do you know etc and this is the spark what could turn into an interest....I did it with my daughter and she ended up getting a masters in ecology and doing Bat surveys...you just never know.👌

They are the ultimate opportunists aren't they.  I was rolling some large imperfect elm rings off my pickup yesterday morning and by the time I'd got to moving the next ring a robin was exploring the mush in the previous one.
